SRH Vs MI, IPL 2024: RCB’s 11-year-old world record broken, Sunrisers Hyderabad made the biggest score
SRH vs MI: Today in the 8th match of IPL 2024, Sunrisers Hyderabad is facing Mumbai Indians. In this match being played at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad, Hardik Pandya has won the toss and decided to bowl first. SRH, who came to bat first, thrashed MI bowlers badly.
Hyderabad scored 277 runs losing 3 wickets in 20 overs. This is the biggest score made in a single innings of IPL. With this, Hyderabad has broken the 11 year old record of RCB. If Mumbai wants its first win of this season, they will have to score 278 runs.

Earlier, the highest score in an innings in IPL was 263 runs. In 2013, Royal Challengers Bangalore had achieved this feat against Pune Warriors. Last season, Lucknow Super Giants had scored 257 runs against Punjab Kings. Whereas in IPL 2016, Royal Challengers Bangalore had scored 248 runs against Gujarat Lions. In 2010, Chennai Super Kings scored 246 runs against Rajasthan Royals.

Klaasen scored a half century
Aiden Markram and Heinrich Klaasen made an unbeaten partnership of 116 runs for the fourth wicket. Markram remained unbeaten on 42 runs on 28 balls and Klaasen remained unbeaten on 80 runs on 34 balls. For Mumbai, captain Hardik Pandya, Gerald Coetzee and Piyush Chawla got 1-1 success.
