Ajith Kumar’s Thunivu titled Thegimpu in Telugu: Set to release worldwide on Pongal!

Ajith Kumar is gearing up for the release of his upcoming movie Thunivu. The movie is set to release on Pongal and it is the third collaboration of Ajith with director H Vinoth and producer Boney Kapoor. The movie is getting a lot of attention at the moment and to increase the hype the makers recently unveiled the Telugu title of the venture.

The movie is titled Thegimpu in Telugu and it has been reported that it will release simultaneously with the Tamil version. For those who don’t know, Thegimpu will be in the dubbed version of Thunivu as it wasn’t shot in both languages. The release rights of the Telugu version have been bagged by Radha Krishna Entertainments in Andhra Pradesh and by IVY Productions in Telangana.

Coming back to the movie, Thegimpu features Manju Warrier as the female lead and Samuthirakani, Veera, John Kokken, Ajay, and Cibi Chandran in other important roles. Thegimpu is clashing with Thalapathy Vijay starrer Varasudu at the box office.
