Akshay Kumar meets with Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath; says, ’actors are waiting for the film city’
On Wednesday, Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar met with Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in Mumbai. The actor met with the CM Yogi Adityanath at the Taj Hotel as he was on a 2-day visit to Mumbai. They interacted for about 35 minutes and mainly they talked about movies and the upcoming film city project in UP.
According to a report, in the meeting, Akshay Kumar mentioned that “there is a great deal of excitement in the Indian film industry around the Film City project. Many big production houses, producers, directors, and actors are waiting for the film city in UP to be up and running, the actor is learned to have told CM Adityanath. He said the development of a world-class Film and Infotainment City in UP will provide a new option for those in the movie business to plan their projects.”
CM Yogi Adityanath also expressed how cinema plays an important role in raising awareness. He also said that filmmakers should work on social subjects and national importance. According to CM Yogi Adityanath, the upcoming film city project will be at par with the global mark and a new film policy is being “formulated” with that in mind.
