The report also states that suspicious websites used by SGE are showing results with .online domain in the search results.

Redirects happening on different websites

If you click on one of these links, users are redirected to multiple websites until they land on a scam site. The report claims that most of these redirects are taking users to fake captcha or YouTube lookalike pages.

It has also been said in the report that first such websites take permission to send notifications and later they trap the users by showing fake advertisements. Bleeping Computer says that once the website gets permission to send notifications, scammers target people by sending fake advertisements like fake iPhone gifts.
