Story :-
Pros are here :-
Nayanthara has delivered a spell-bound performance as Annapoorani and her character showcases that she was inspired from Anand Sundarajan. She was exceptional while cooking non-veg dishes which is taught to her to be a sin in her orthodox family. Master Chef reality show scenes were well-shot and first half is ok and second half has all the stuff to have a nice meal with proper justification. Thaman’s background score is apt so to be the cinematography.
Cons are here :-
Annapoorani is very much predictable storyline and audience can prior think of the scenes which could appear the next. Motivational scenes lacks the emotional and few religious aspects are shown in the another way and provoked that non-vegetarians are sinners. Selected ideology has been rubbed on the audience rather than focusing the in-depth to its screenplay.
Final Word :-
Nayanthara is known for her selection of stories and this film to remains as a showbox of her talent in the kitty. She proved once again that she go into the skin of any character. Dreaming of being a chef and achieving it focused very much in the movie. The second half is hear of the film and makes the audience to stick to their seats even the scenes are predictable. One can say that Annapoorani is an Nayantara’s one women show. Annapoorani is a film is served in a huge plate rather than a crispy chips..
