Another big win for RRR: SS Rajamouli’s directorial gets 5 nominations at the Critics Choice Awards 2023!

SS Rajamouli’s RRR which was released in March 2022 is currently on a winning spree. The movie has received recognition at the International level and recently it earned two Golden Globes 2023 nominations. The movie is expected to join the race for the Oscars and now it got another achievement by earning 5 nominations at the prestigious Critics Choice Awards 2023.

This achievement was announced by the makers via their official Instagram handle. “Another day, another big milestone for RRR… #RRRmovie is nominated in 5 categories for the prestigious Critics Choice awards!!,” they posted. The nominations include Best Picture, Best Director for SS Rajamouli, Best Foreign Language Film, Best Visual Effects, and Best Song for ‘Naatu Naatu’.

Previously, Rajamouli won the prestigious New York Film Critics Circle award for Best Director, for the film and the movie won several other awards at other reputed events.

Talking more about the movie, RRR featured Ram Charan and Jr NTR in the lead roles. The movie has a special cameo from Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn, and Shriya Saran.
