Anurag Kashyap’s response to Huma Qureshi threatening to sue him for ‘stealing her song’

Recently Anurag Kashyap and Huma Qureshi were involved in a social media banter in which the actress shared a video clip on her Instagram Stories and claimed she will be “suing” musician Amit Trivedi and Anurag for stealing her song. “I am suing Amit Trivedi and Anurag Kashyap for stealing my song,” she posted while sharing a clip from Anurag’s upcoming movie Almost Pyaar With DJ Mohabbat.

Responding to the declaration, Anurag re-shared her post on his Instagram stories and added, “Hahaha and never releasing it.”

Though no one knows what is going on between the two of them, Anurag has voiced his opinion about his upcoming movie Almost Pyaar With DJ Mohabbat recently. Talking about the movie he said the movie is close to his heart. “It’s a true labour of love with some amazing young actors, great energy, great music by Amit Trivedi with the help of some amazing collaborators like my DP Sylvester and my PD Shazia plus everyone else. It’s my going back to my constant exploration of relationships vis a vis the generation which actually defines us and is our future. It’s about love and all kinds of prejudices that plagues it. I feel great to move to the next phase of my life with this film,” he said about his movie.
