Anushka Sharma wraps the shoot of Chakda Xpress!

Today December 26 Anushka Sharma announced that she has wrapped the shooting of her upcoming movie Chakda Xpress. The actress announced this update via her official Instagram handle with a post saying, “It’s a wrap on Chakda ‘Xpress and thank you @JhulanGoswami for the final clap to bring an end to the shoot! (blue heart, clapboard and cricket bat emojis).”

Along with the caption, the actress shared a few pictures from the last day of the shoot. The pictures show the cast and crew shooting inside a stadium and in the first picture, Anusha, Jhulan Goswami, and Prosit Roy are seen cutting a special cake. The cake has Jhulan’s 25-number jersey and the movie’s title decoration. The actress is wearing a team India uniform in these pictures.

Coming back to the movie, Chakda Xpress is a biopic on the life of cricketer Jhulan Goswami. This Netflix film is financed by Anushka’s brother Karnesh Sharma and helmed by Prosit Roy.
