Art director Sunil from ‘Varisu’ passes away

Thalapathy Vijay starrer Varisu is currently getting a lot of attention on the internet. The movie is set to hit the theatres on January 11 and everyone is excited about its release. However, unfortunately, there is sad news for the Varisu team as a senior technician and a key part of the crew has passed away. It has been reported that renowned art director Sunil Babu, who used to work in the Malayalam industry died yesterday.

The 50-year-old technician worked as a production designer in Varisu and he passed away yesterday night due to cardiac arrest. According to reports, Sunil was admitted to the Amritha hospital in Ernakuman earlier in the week after he had swelling on his leg.

Sunil was a former associate of Sabu Cyril and he has worked as a production designer in several big movies in different languages. The industry is shocked by his death and many have expressed their condolences over his demise.
