Avatar The Way Of Water Box Office report: James Cameron’s movies shatter Avengers Endgame’s record

James Cameron’s Avatar: The Way Of Water was released on December 16 and it is doing great business at the Indian box office. The movie is currently running in the 2^nd week at the theatres and it collected over Rs. 190 crore nett in its first week. Despite facing a clash with Rohit Shetty starrer Cirkus, its performance didn’t fall in the 2^nd week and this James Cameron’s movie is now eyeing the top spot in the list of highest all-time Hollywood grosser in India.

The movie did a business of Rs 12 crore on the 2^nd Friday, Rs 19.50 on the 2^nd Saturday, Rs 25.50 crore on the Second Sunday, and Rs 12.5 crore nett on the second Monday. It is expected that the film will bring an additional Rs 100 crore in the 2^nd week.

As Marvel’s Avengers Endgame earned around Rs 76 crore in its 2^nd week, James Cameron’s movie is expected to break that record soon. If the movie continues to maintain these numbers, it can even surpass Avengers Endgame’s lifetime collection of Rs 367 crore nett.
