Ayushmann’s Doctor G gets A rating!

Ayushmann Khurrana starrer Doctor G had completed the entire shooting and post production works and the film had completed the censor formalities. Surprisingly, Doctor G received A certificate from the censor board, and it marks the first film of Ayshmmann in his 10 years career to receive an A rating.

Doctor G deals with the story about a gynecologist and had some A rated jokes, according to censor board members. He will be seen as Dr. Uday Gupta struggle in the genecology department surrounded by only women. The actor says he liked the script very much, and it is his dream come true to play a doctor on screen.

The makers were not looking to cut scenes or mute dialogues that might take away the film’s story, and thus they went ahead with adult rating. The film is 2 hours and 4 minutes long.

Doctor G casts Rakul Preet Singh and Shefali Shah in central roles, and the movie is all set for theatrical release on October 14.
