Bol Radha Bol fame producer Nitin Manmohan passed away

Bol Radha Bol and Laadla fame producer Nitin Manmohan passed away today in Mumbai. The producer was rushed to the Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Navi Mumbai on December 3 after he suffered from a massive heart attack. He was on the ventilator for the last 15 days and he passed away today morning while being on the ventilator.

His daughter Prachi said, “He passed away this morning, around 10.30 am. He was hospitalised for the past three weeks.” Talking about the cause of the death, Prachi said, “After he suffered heart attack there was lack of blood supply and oxygen to his brain, and this caused Status Epilepticus.” Nitin’s friend Kaleen Khan confirmed that he was on the ventilator for 15 days. His son Soham, who lives in Dubai also rushed back to Mumbai to be by his father’s side.

For those who don’t know, Nitin Manmohan is the son of the late actor Manmohan, who starred in movies like Brahmachari, Gumnaam, and Naya Zamana. Nitin has financed several iconic movies like Bol Radha Bol (1992), Laadla (1994), Army (1996), Shool (1999), Love Ke Liye Kuch Bhi Karega (2001), Deewangee (2002), Dus (2005), Yamla Pagla Deewana (2011), and Ready (2011). The filmmaker is survived by his wife, son, and daughter.
