Cirkus song Aashiqui released: Badshah bringing back Jugnu vibes in Rohit Shetty’s directorial!

After Current Laga Re and Sun Zara, the third song from Ranveer Singh, Pooja Hegde, and Jacqueline Fernandez starrer Cirkus has been released today. The song is named Aashiqui and it is penned, composed, and sung by Badshah. Aside from Badshah, Amritha Singh has also given her voice to this song. This song features, Ranveer Singh, Jacqueline Fernandez, Pooja Hegde, Varun Sharma, Johnny Lever, Mukesh Tiwari, and Sanjay Mishra among others.

The beats of the song are quite similar to the popular track Jugnu by the rapper however, unlike the original, the lyrics for Aashiqui are slow which creates an imbalance. Other than that, the choreography is quite good and the makers have also set the 60s vibes well.

Coming back to the movie, Cirkus is written by Farhad Samji and bankrolled by Rohit Shetty and Bhushan Kumar. The movie is the third collaboration of Ranveer Singh and Rohit Shetty after Simmba and Sooryavanshi. Cirkus is set to release on December 23 and the star cast is currently busy promoting the movie.
