DC CEO James Gunn refutes rumors of Wonder Woman 3 being canceled!

James Gunn, the CEO of DC has debunked the rumors of Wonder Woman 3 getting canceled. As DC is under new management and projects like Man of Steel 2 with Henry Cavill have been canceled, the rumors of Wonder Woman 3 getting canceled were spreading on the internet. Clearing such rumors today, James Gunn has replied to a user’s retweet on Twitter.

The user has retweeted a post from the Home of DCU which read, “Variety reports Wonder Woman will not appear in the first 3 years of the DCU at all.” The said user retweeted this post by tagging James Gunn and saying, “@JamesGunn please debunk this one.” James Gunn replied to this tweet and posted, “I hereby debunk it (only because it’s not true)” along with a video.

For those who don’t know, it was previously reported that the director of Wonder Woman, Patty Jenkins submitted a story for the third installment of the franchise but it was not approved by the studio’s seniors. It was reported that the story was not in line with the thoughts of James Gunn and Peter Safran as a result such rumors started circulating through the internet.
