Delhi High Court permits Jacqueline Fernandez to travel to Dubai!

Jaqueline Fernandez who recently turned witness in the Sukesh Chandrashekar Rs 200 crore extortion case has been granted permission to travel abroad albeit with certain conditions. The actress recently the Delhi Patiala High Court to seek permission for traveling to attend the Annual Botlers Conference in Dubai. As the actress has a performance scheduled for the PepsiCo India conference she applied for the permit.

The High Court granted permission to Jacqueline to travel to Dubai after her lawyers claimed that she may face a lawsuit from the brand for breaching the contract. Considering the same, the court gave her permission to travel but she has to follow some conditions. The court has laid certain guidelines for the actress and has also included an FDR for Rs. 1 crore, in case, Jacqueline doesn’t return. Also, the court has ordered that the actress has to give full disclosure of her stay details in Dubai.

In the past, Jacqueline filed a plea seeking permission to travel but as ED opposed her request, she had to withdraw the same. In this instance as the actress has decided to cooperate in the investigation and as she may face legal suit for breaching her contract, the court has granted her permission to travel.
