Dhanush starrer, Vaathi new poster unveiled on Diwali!

The new posters of Dhanush starrer bilingual movie Vaathi in Tamil and Sir in Telugu have been unveiled by the makers on the occasion of Diwali, October 24. Unlike the previous poster of the movie, this new picture features Dhanush beating down a goon with a fierce look on his face.

As this movie is about making education accessible to all, Dhanush who plays the role of a junior lecturer takes it upon himself to fight against the people opposing this idea. This poster is in line with this theme and it shows that Dhanush’s character won’t shy away from choosing violence if the situation demands it.

Previously the teaser of the movie also featured a strong punchline on this topic saying, “Education is equal to the offering we place before God in a temple. Distribute it. Don’t sell it like a dish from a five-star hotel.”

With that being said, talking more about Vaathi’s team, Venky Atluri has directed the venture, and S Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya are bankrolling it. Samyuktha Menon is playing the female lead in the movie and Sai Kumar, Tanikella Bharani, Samuthirakani, Thotapalli Madhu, Narra Srinivas, Pammi Sai, Hyper Aadhi, Shara, Aadukalam Naren, Ilavarasu, Motta Rajendran, Hareesh Peradi and Praveena among others are playing other important roles.

The movie was previously set to release on December 2 but now it has been reported that it might get postponed to much later date.
