Fawad Khan starrer The Legend of Maula Jatt’s India release postponed

Previously it was announced that the hit Pakistani movie The Legend Of Maula Jatt, featuring Fawad Khan will release in India around December 23 but, the movie was later postponed to release on December 30. However, once again the move has been postponed and this time no new release date has been announced.

If the reports are to be believed the release date of the movie has been postponed indefinitely. The reason behind this development is that the Central Board of Film Certification recalled the film on Monday. “Zee Studios had already acquired a clearance for The Legend Of Maula Jatt from the Central Board of Film Certification. But on Monday the CBFC recalled the film,” a source close to the project revealed.

Coming back to the movie, The Legend of Maula Jatt is the official remake of the 1979 cult Pakistani movie Maula Jatt. The movie features Fawad Khan, Hamza Ali Abbasi, Humaima Malik, and Mahira Khan in the key roles and it shows the story of a local folk hero named Maula Jatt.
