Regarding Chandrakant Pandit, Vise said, ‘Chandrakant Pandit is known as a very strict and aggressive coach in India. He likes discipline a lot. Often in franchise cricket, players from different countries do not like this strict attitude and are not told how to behave and what to wear. It was quite difficult for me. He wanted to do things his own way within the team and this attitude was not liked by many players. But I believed that you can do whatever you want, I have come to play as you say, but there were some players who did not like this.
Andre Russell has given a statement on this entire matter and has defended his coach. Terming David Wiese’s allegations as nonsense, he said in a press conference, ‘We have been associated with him since last year and when you work with a new coach, you have to adapt yourself according to his planning or strategy. I believe that it is very important to have rules and discipline within a team. We are professional players and we should not complain.
