Jacqueline Fernandez’s lawyer’s statement on the defamation suit from Nora Fatehi

Jacqueline Fernandez and Nora Fatehi have constantly been in news this year as their names were included in the charge sheet filed against the conman Sukesh Chandrashekar by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in the Rs 200 crore money laundering case. However, now the two actresses hit the headlines after the reports of Nora filing a defamation suit against Jacqueline circulated through the internet.

The reports said Nora claimed that “Jacqueline Fernandes sought to criminally defame the complainant in order to destroy her career to further her own interests, since they are both working in the same industry and have similar backgrounds, amongst other reasons.”

Talking about this matter, Jacqueline’s lawyer Prashant Patil has revealed that his client has never spoken ill about Nora. The lawyer avoided talking about the ED proceedings but he claimed that they have not received any defamation suit copy from Nora. The lawyer also said that if they do receive such a suit then they too will respond legally.
