Jenna Ortega starrer Wednesday was such a hit last year and Netflix has announced that the series has been officially renewed for season two. The OTT giant made this announcement by sharing a teaser of the show featuring Jenna Ortega. In the video, Jenna Ortega’s character Wednesday Addam has a little message for the fans. “Over the past few weeks, I’ve been hunted, haunted, and mimicked millions of times across the internet. It’s been pure torture. Thank you,” she says in her iconic style.

This news has brought a sigh of relief for the Wednesday fans who were worrying why Netflix took more than six weeks to announce the next season for the show that has clocked up 1.2 billion hours of viewing in the first 28 days after release.

Coming back to the show, Wednesday’s season one had eight episodes, and four of them were directed by Tim Burton. The show revolves around the story of Wednesday Addams who enrolls in Nevermore Academy. Aside from Jenna, Wednesday stars Gwendoline Christie, Riki Lindhome, and Jamie McShane, among others.
