Kalyani Priyadarshan onboards Rajinikanth’s Thalaivar 170!

The talks of Rajinikanth’s 170^th movie started circulating on the internet for quite some time now. Updates, like Vadivelu and Arvind Swamy joining the cast, were also recently announced and now it has been reported that a young actress has been signed for this venture.

According to the latest reports, Kalyani Priyadarshan of ‘Maanaadu’ fame has onboarded the team. It has also been revealed that the rest of the cast and crew, will be announced in a little over 24 hours.

Coming back to the movie, this project is tentatively called Thalaivar 170 at the moment and it will be directed by Cibi Chakravarthy. Anirudh is giving the music for the venture and Lyca Productions are financing it. As per the reports, this movie will be an out-and-out commercial entertainer. The makers have claimed that the movie, will entertain not only the Thalaivar fans but also the general viewers.

Meanwhile, Rajinikanth is currently busy working on his upcoming movie Jailer. The movie is directed by Nelson Dilipkumar and the latest buzz says it is on the verge of completion.
