Kannada actor Mandeep Roy died due to a heart attack at 73

Kannada actor Mandeep Roy who has been part of more than 500 movies passed away on Sunday in Bengaluru. The actor suffered a heart attack and breathe his last at the age of 73. It has been reported that this was not his first attack as the actor also underwent treatment for a heart attack back in December. Mandeep’s daughter Akshatha spoke to News18 to talk about her dad’s death. She said, “Our father had a heart attack and is being treated in the ICU. Currently, his health is improving. Our family will discuss with the doctor whether he should undergo heart surgery or a stent.”

According to reports, the actor was laid to rest at the Hebbal Crematorium in the presence of his family and friends. Several celebrities from the Kannada cinema expressed condolences for the actor’s demise.

The actor worked in 500 movies in Kannada cinema and he was very famous for his comic roles. He was last seen on the big screen in 2021 in the movie Auto Ramanna.
