Karan Johar kickstarts the last schedule of Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt’s Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani!

Karan Johar has set out to kickstart the last schedule of Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt starrer Rocky Aur Ranu Ki Prem Kahani. This schedule will include the shoot of a massive song featuring Alia and Ranveer and it is hinted that it will be Karan’s tribute to the late filmmaker Yash Chopra.

Announcing the same, Karan Johar shared a video of his team on a flight with a caption saying, “Shooting the last schedule of our film #rockyaurranikipremkahani…a film i have directed after 7 years…shooting a song which is a homage to my favourite filmmaker of all times… won’t say any more…”

A month back it was reported that Karan Johar is planning to pay homage to Yash Chopra with a song sequence in Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani and now he has confirmed the same with his Instagram stories. Furthermore, if previous reports are to be believed Karan will use Rishi Kapoor and Sridevi from Chandni as the reference for this romantic number.

Rocky Aur Raani Ki Prem Kahani gets a new release date

Backed by Dharma Productions, Rocky Aur Raani Ki Prem Kahani is written by Ishita Moitra, Shashank Khaitan & Sumit Roy and it stars Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, and Shabana Azmi alongside Alia and Ranveer. The movie was previously set to release on April 28, 2023, but later it was postponed to July 28.
