Karan Johar to give tribute to Yash Chopra with his upcoming Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani

Karan Johar who recently celebrated New year with Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani in Dubai is set to shoot a romantic number with Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt for his upcoming movie Rocky Aur Rani Ke Prem Kahaani. The song will be shot in February and it has been reported that it will be one of the most special songs, Karan has ever shot.

Reports also say that this song will be a tribute to his mentor Yash Chopra and Rishi Kapoor and Sridevi from Chandni have been taken as references for the said romantic number. As Kjo has always been a diehard Yash Chopra fan it has always been his aim to shoot a romantic number in the late filmmaker’s style.

Alia and Ranveer in Koffee with Karan

Coming back to the movie, Rocky Aur Rani Ke Prem Kahaani features Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh and it was announced a while back. Alia and Ranveer also appeared as guests to talk about this movie in Karan Johar’s Koffee with Karan season 7. Ranveer who is coming after a major flop with Cirkus will be romancing Alia who last starred in Brahmastra, in this movie.
