Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn has stepped into the shoes of actor Karthi for the Hindi remake of Tamil hit Kaithi. The movie is titled Bholaa and features actress Tabu in crucial role.
Apart from playing the lead, Devgn will also don the director cap for Bholaa. The film marks Ajay Devgn’s fourth project as a director. Actor Karthi informs that many filmmakers tried to grab the rights of Kaithi, but he is glad that Ajay Devgn bagged the rights and is doing Hindi remake, as he can do the justice to the role.
Kaithi had Karthi playing the role as Dilli, a released prisoner who goes in search of his daughter. The other interesting news is that the director Lokesh is working on sequel of Kaithi, which is expected to start production next year.
The actor was recently seen in Mani Ratnam’s historical action drama Ponniyin Selvan-I, while he has Sardar gearing up for release for Diwali.
