Karthi who had two releases already this year with Viruman and Ponniyin Selvan is gearing up for his third release titled Sardar, which is on track for October 21 grand theatrical release on the festive season of Diwali.
Sardar teaser trailer had earned good response, as Karthi was seen in multiple getups. Fans are awaiting for the trailer which will be out soon next week. Meanwhile, here’s another exciting news from the makers that Karthi had even crooned for a number called ‘Yeru Mayileri’ composed by music director GV Prakash and penned by Yugabharathi.
GV Prakash informed the news by tweeting, “The first song of #sardar will be sung by our #vandhiyathevan @karthi_offl… it’s an ode to our classical theatre performances … the song is a rural folk track named #ஏறுமயிலேறி #yerumayileri . @psmithran #princepictures @dhilipaction @geroge_dop @AntonyLRuben.. #yugabarathy”.
Sardar shows Karthi as super spy and is directed by PS Mithran of Hero and Irumbu Thirai fame. This Prince Pictures production venture has Raashi Khanna and Rajisha Vijayan as the female leads.
