Karthi and Anu Emmanuel starrer Japan had been released worldwide on the occasion of Diwali last week and garnered negative buzz with its lengthy and boring screenplay and its collections remained to its talk.
As per industry talk, Japan film has collected 2.5 Crore in Telugu states gross while trade pandits are expecting that the movie will only gross Rs. 20 Crores in its first weekend. Comparing to two other films in Tamilnadu, Japan has got some decent collections and 2 films are Raid and Jigarthanda Double X.
Sunil, KS Ravikumar and Vijay Milton are seen in important roles in this mass comedy thriller. Raju Murugan directed this Money Heist thriller where Karthi garnered positive buzz over his performance in the character.
