Karthi’s Sardar gets lengthy runtime

Karthi’s much awaited spy thriller Sardar is scheduled for a release on October 21, clashing with Sivakarrthikeyan’s Prince at the box-office this Diwali. Sardar first copy is ready, and the censor details will be out soon.

Meanwhile Sardar’s lengthy runtime of 2 hours and 46 minutes has been in talk. Karthi who plays dual roles in the movie will be seen in multiple getups as a spy, while it casts Raashi Khanna and Laila in central roles.

Sardar theatrical trailer is expected to be released soon, as a part of promotional campaign and to raise the curiosity factor on the movie. PS Mithran who delivered two superhit films ‘Irumbu Thirai’ and ‘Hero’ will be donning the director cap for the movie. GV Prakash Kumar has scored the music.
