Kartik Aaryan starrer Shehzada postponed ‘out of respect for Pathaan’

Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon starrer Shehzada which was set to hit the theatres on February 10 has been postponed. The movie will now release on February 17 which is a week later that the previous date as a sign of respect to Pathaan. The makers have revealed that they have postponed the movie “out of respect for Pathaan.”

Many are saying that as Shah Rukh Khan starrer Pathaan is currently doing great at the box office and already grossed around Rs 542 crore worldwide in just 5 days avoiding a clash with it will be a wise move for both movies.

Coming back to Kartik’s movie, Shehzada is directed by Rohit Dhawan and it also features Manisha Koirala, Paresh Rawal, Ronit Roy, and Sachin Khedekar in important roles. The movie marks Kartik’s debut as a co-producer and it is the Hindi remake of the Telugu movie Ala Vaikunthapurramloo.
