Liger star Vijay Deverakonda pledges to donate his organs!

Vijay Deverakonda who was last seen in Liger attended a private hospital in Hyderabad recently for an awareness program on child liver transplantation. At that event, the actor pledged to donate his organs after his death. His mother Madhavi Deverakonda also did the same and registered to donate her organs at the event.

Talking about this the actor said, “I am aware that a lot of surgeries take place only because of donors. Organ donation is not that popular in South Asian countries. I am someone who wishes to donate my organs. After my death, I want my organs to be donated if they are in good condition.”

“It is a beautiful thing that you continue to live on in some way. My mother and I have registered to donate our organs. I urge everyone to be open to the idea of organ donation,” added the actor.

Meanwhile, on the work front, the actor will now be seen in Kushi with Samantha Ruth Prabhu. He also has another exciting project with Puri Jagannadh under his belt.
