Josh Penn and Michael Gottwald of the Department of Motion Pictures are preparing to finance the 2018 Blacklist and Sundance Screenwriter Labs original screenplay Nobody Nothing Nowhere. Rachel Wolther and Alex H. Fischer will direct this venture and it has been reported that Lucy Liu, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, and Octavia Spencer will star in it. The three stars will also be producing this venture alongside Josh Penn and Michael Gottwald.
This venture will mark the feature directorial debut of Wolther who has only directed short films so far. The shooting of Nobody Nothing Nowhere is set to start this summer.
For those who are unaware, Nobody Nothing Nowhere is a high-concept sci-fi comedy venture that revolves around Ruth. She is a part of a group of human-like beings called Non-People whose sole purpose in life is to fill the gaps in a realistic world. Non-People acts like NPC for the only remaining actual human on Earth, Dave. Ruth after getting bored of being a background character soon demands a free life.
