M.S Dhoni to feature in Lokesh Kanaraj’s project for his Tamil cinema debut?

Mahendra Singh Dhoni who has made a big name as a cricketer has already made a strong foothold in the Bollywood industry and now he is planning to enter Tamil cinema as a producer. His production banner Dhoni Entertainments is backing a couple of Tamil projects and is also branching out to Malayalam and Kannada, with soon-to-be-announced projects as well.

Now it has been reported that Lokesh Kanagaraj of Vikram fame is trying to cast the cricketer in one of his upcoming projects. According to the latest buzz, the director is planning to add MS Dhoni to a movie under his Lokesh Cinematic Universe. Another report also suggests that the cricketer might also make his debut with Thalapathy starrer Thalapathy 67, another one of Lokesh’s directorial. However, an official confirmation on both speculations has not been made by M.S Dhoni at the moment.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Lokesh is currently working on Thalapathy 67 and it has been reported that the project will soon kickstart as Vijay wrapped up Varisu’s schedule a while back. Further updates about Thalapathy 67 will be made in the future and official confirmation about the movie’s cast is also expected to come soon.
