Madhur Bhandarkar’s “India Lockdown” is now released: Here’s a review

Madhur Bhandarkar’s movie “India Lockdown,” which brings back memories of the horror situations and struggles people had to face during the lockdown, has now been released. The movie tells the story of the country going into lockdown for 21 days due to the virus that has been spreading all around.

The movie portrays the stories of people with different occupations, including sex workers, migrants, pilots, and many others. One of the most heartbreaking stories in the movie is of the migrant couple Madhav and Phoolmati, who lose their jobs after the country goes into total lockdown and now have to return to their hometown as they don’t have jobs and their supplies are over. The family travels on foot, as there are no vehicles to go back in.
