Mammootty and Vijay Sethupathi to work on a Tamil project soon? Click to know the deets

Vijay Sethupathi who is basking on success with multiple hits in 2022 will now be joining the megastar of Malayalam cinema Mammootty for the first time for an upcoming Tamil project. If reports are to be believed, the two of them will be working together under the direction of Manikandan.

The project might be officially announced in a few days. According to the latest updates, the movie might kickstart by the beginning of December, this year after Mammootty and Vijay wrap up their prior commitments.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Mammootty is currently working on Kaathal: The Core which is his first collaboration with director Joe Baby. The shooting of this venture is expected to complete by the end of September this year. The actor will also be seen in the Telugu spy thriller Agent starring Akhil Akkineni. Other than that, he also has Lijo Jose Pellissery’s Nanpakal Nerathu Mayakkam, Amal Neerad’s Bilal, and B Unnikrishnan’s Christopher, under his belt.

Vijay Sethupathi, on the other hand, will be sharing the screen with Shah Rukh Khan for the first time in the movie Jawan. He is also playing the lead role in Sriram Raghvan’s Merry Christmas alongside Katrina Kaif. It has also been reported that he will be reprising the role of Sandanam in the upcoming sequel of Kamal Haasan starrer Vikram.
