Matt Reeves confirms the sequel of The Batman; Robert Pattinson’s place is secured in DCU!
As DCU is currently undergoing a massive change under the new management people are speculating on who will be the faces of the Justice League going forward. While various other actors like Henry Cavill have been let go by the DC, it has been reported that the sequel of The Batman featuring Robert Pattinson is currently being made.
Talking about the same, the filmmaker Matt Reeves revealed that he is working with Mattson Tomlin for the sequel. “I’m not going to answer that question, but we are working on a movie. I’ll put it to you that way. We’re deep in it and my partner and I are writing, Mattson [Tomlin] and I are writing, and it’s really exciting, and I’m really excited about what we’re doing,” the director said.
The director also revealed that he will be doing this sequel with Robert Pattinson by saying, “really excited to be doing that with Rob because I think he is such a special person and actor”.
The Batman movie featuring Robert Pattinson was released in 2021 and it was a box office and critical success. The movie is currently streaming on HBO Max and it is expected that the sequel will hit the theatres in 2025.
