Mission Impossible stunt coordinator roped in Pathaan!

Shah Rukh Khan’s comeback movie Pathaan is one of the movie anticipated movies from Bollywood. As the actor won many hearts with only the cameo scenes in 2022, many are eagerly waiting for the release of Pathaan in 2022. Furthermore, the action-packed teaser which was released earlier has even enticed the viewers and upped the excitement.

Now to make matters even more interesting, it has been revealed that Pathaan’s director Siddharth Anand roped in Hollywood stunt co-ordinator Casey O’Neil, to design the stunts for the movie. For those who don’t know, Casey is a reputed name in Hollywood and he has worked with Tom Cruise in his career-defining movies like Mission Impossible series, Jack Reacher, and Top Gun: Maverick. He has also worked in Marvel Studios and Steven Spielberg films.

Speaking about this development, director Siddharth said, “When one sets out to make the spectacle action film of India with one of the all-time biggest heroes of our country, Shah Rukh Khan, you need to have a champion team that is unified in the vision. Thankfully we got an A-team that came together to push the visual envelope with Pathaan and I was delighted to have someone like Casey O’Neill, who has extensively worked with Tom Cruise, to be by our side.”

Coming back to the movie, Pathaan is part of Aaditya Chopra’s spyverse and it features Deepika Padukone and John Abraham alongside SRK in pivotal roles. Salman Khan is also making a cameo in the movie and it is set to release on January 25.
