Money laundering case: Jacqueline Fernandez’s plea to fo Bahrain gets withdrawn!
Yesterday, Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez was summoned to the Patiala House Court for the hearing of her plea to go abroad. The actress filed a petition in a Delhi court to get permission to visit Bahrain, her birthplace from December 23.
Previously, the court asked the Enforcement Directorate (ED) to file a reply for the hearing that happened yesterday. After analyzing the replay, the judge said, “(Jacqueline) You can withdraw the application and let the question of charge first be decided. Otherwise, I will pass a judicial order.”
The ED opposed her plea saying if the actress is allowed to go abroad she may not return. “She is a foreign national. Though she has her career here, she can make her career somewhere else (also),” they said.
After discussing with her lawyers, the actress decided to withdraw her application. Before, withdrawing her application, in a counterargument, the actress mentioned that she was previously given permission to travel overseas during the investigation.
