MS Dhoni’s production locks director for their first venture

Star cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni will be foraying into movie as a producer launching his production venture Dhoni Entertainment banner.

Dhoni has officially announced the news with a press release stating that he and his wife Sakshi Singh Dhoni are making their debut as producers in movie industry, with a Tamil film, and it will be directed by Ramesh Thamilmani, who has also authored “Atharva – The Origin,” a new age graphic novel. The cast and crew of this film are to be finalized.

“From the moment I read the concept written by Sakshi, I knew it was special. The concept was fresh and had all the potential to be a fun family entertainer,” said Ramesh Thamilmani.

MS Dhoni’s debut production film will be made in Tamil and dubbed into other major Indian languages. “Conceptualised by Sakshi Singh Dhoni, the family entertainer will start rolling soon,” the press note added.
