Mukesh Bhatt will only have original tunes on Kartik Aaryan’s Aashiqui 3!

A few days ago it was reported that Mukesh Bhatt is looking for a fresh face to cast opposite Kartik Aaryan in Aashiqui 3. The filmmaker has already started the casting process and now he has also revealed a few interesting facts about the music of this venture.

Talking about the music, Bhatt has informed a media outlet that he has no plans to recreate any popular tracks from the previous parts of Aashiqui. “I don’t believe in recreations, I believe in originals. Aashiqui 1 had original tunes and so did Aashiqui 2. I have the capacity to create original tunes. I have to work for one year on the music, so the songs match up to the level of parts one and two. That’s a herculean task for me that I have to work on,” he said. Considering how iconic the songs from, the first and second parts of Aashiqui had, this one is a truly challenging task for Bhatt.

Meanwhile, Kartik is currently busy with several projects like Shehzada with Kriti Sanon, Satyaprem Ki Katha with Kiara Advani, and Hansal Mehta’s Captain India.
