Naatu Naatu composer MM Keeravani to perform his song at Oscars!

MM Keeravani who was recently honored with Padma Shri has been making India proud with his song ‘Naatu Naatu’ that is being nominated for the Oscars. The song recently won the Golden Globe award under the Best Original Song category and is currently aiming for the Oscars under the same.

According to the latest reports, MM Keeravani is ready to perform ‘Naatu Naatu’ live at the Oscars ceremony in Los Angeles on March 12. Though the composer is nervous about facing the gathered Hollywood personalities he said he is confident about winning. “I am confident about winning. But performing the song live in front of such a gathering needs a lot of preparation and rehearsals,” says Keeravani.

“For too long now I’ve neglected my health. It was only at the Golden Globe when even standing and giving the speech became a problem that I became aware of my obesity. I am out of shape. If the body is not healthy, the mind cannot be fully functional. If I am going to compose more songs that make my country proud, I’ve to be healthy in both body and mind,” he added.
