Nayanthara and Vignesh did not break surrogacy laws: TN Government

Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan’s surrogacy row has finally come to an end with the Tamil Nadu government declaring that actor-director couple did not break any surrogacy laws in the country.

Earlier Tamil Nadu government had formed a three-member panel to investigate if there were any irregularities happened in surrogacy process, after Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan announced the news of the arrival of twin boys–Uyir and Ulagham–via surrogacy.

The Panel submitted the multiple reports from the investigation “On investigating the doctor who provided treatment to the couple, it was discovered that the couple’s family doctor had provided a letter of recommendation in 2020 based on which treatment was provided,” the panel said.

With the committee’s clean chit, Tamil Nadu government has declared the news and put an end to the Nayanthara-Vignesh’s surrogacy issue. On work front, Nayanthara will be making her Bollywood debut opposite Shah Rukh in Atlee’s Jawan next year.
