Owen Wilson’s ‘Paint’ preponed; Gets a new release date!

Owen Wilson’s Comedy Paint which was set to release on April 28 has been preponed. According to the latest updates, the theatrical release of Paint has been moved forwards by three weeks. Written by Brit McAdams, this movie will now hit the theatres on April 7.

Paint will follow revolved around the life of Carl Nargle (Wilson) who is a popular TV host and painter living as Vermont’s number one public TV painter. He is loved by many and he takes pride in “fans hanging on his every stroke.” Everything in his life is going smoothly until the TV station hires a younger and better painter who immediately becomes a fan favorite.

So far the trailer of this venture has not been released but IFC had unveiled the first look of Owen Wilson as Carl Nargle. In the said poster the actor sported a perm. Backed by Sam Maydew of Silver Lining Entertainment, and Peter Brant, Paint will mark the directorial debut of McAdams and it is set to stream exclusively on AMC+ later this year.
