Pathaan box office collection Day 16: Shah Rukh Khan’s starrer inches towards Rs 1000 crore mark!

Shah Rukh Khan starrer Pathaan is currently in its third week of release and though the movie’s collection has dropped significantly, it is still going strong at the box office. According to the reports, the movie minted around Rs 5.5-6 crore on its third Thursday and at the global box office it collected Rs 887 crore in 16 days. It is expected that over the weekend the movie will cross the Rs 900 crore mark and inch toward the Rs 1000 crore mark.

Meanwhile, with no significant title currently playing in theatres, the movie has minted Rs 452.95 crore nett at the domestic belt. As per early estimations, the film has now minted around Rs 459 crore at India’s box office and is fighting to enter the Rs 500 crore club. If all goes well, Siddharth Anand’s directorial Pathaan might beat SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali 2: The Conclusion(Rs 510.99 crore) in the Hindi market.

Meanwhile, Pathaan has become the most profitable movie of Yash Raj Films sypverse by beating Salman Khan’s starter Tiger and Hrithik Roshan’s starter War.
