Pathaan box office day 9 collection: Shah Rukh Khan starrer grosses ₹700cr worldwide!

Shah Rukh Khan’s comeback movie Pathaan has grossed over ₹700 crores worldwide. Released ahead of Republic Day on January 25, the movie crossed the ₹700 crore mark in just 9 days and beat Dangal’s record.

According to Boxofficeindia.com, Pathaan is expected to chase the worldwide collection of Bahubali – The Conclusion (Hindi) which stands at ₹801 crores and is on the way to becoming the highest-grossing Hindi film. Pathaan has already surpassed other movies like Ek Tha Tiger and Tiger Zinda Hai.

To talk more in detail, the movie earned  ₹348.50 crores at the Indian Box Office in 8 days and grossed  667 crores worldwide. The exact numbers of day 9 are yet to be announced but trade analyst Ramesh Bala has claimed that the movie has crossed the ₹700 crore mark via his Twitter handle.

Many are saying that Shah Rukh Khan has saved Bollywood once again by delivering such a hit movie considering the poor performance of Hindi movies at the box office last year. Meanwhile, the makers of Kartik Aaryan’s Shehzada have delayed the movie by a week “out of respect for Pathaan”.
