Pathaan update; SRK starrer gets new instruction from Delhi High Court for OTT release
Shah Rukh Khan is all set to make his powerful comeback after 4 years with Pathaan and he is doing his best to promote the venture in every way possible. The actor recently screened the trailer of the movie in Burj Khalifa Dubai and yesterday he watched the whole movie with his family in response to the challenge given by some ministers who were opposed to the film.
Now according to the latest reports, the movie is set to stream on Prime Video in April this year. The Delhi High Court has asked the makers to make necessary changes to the movie by February 20 and has ordered the CBFC to decide on the re-certification by March 10. The court set this timeline as the makers are planning to stream the movie on Prime Video in April. It has been reported that the court has also asked the makers to add subtitles, close captioning, and Hindi audio descriptions for hearing and visually impaired people as per the Right of Persons with Disabilities Act 2016.
Coming back to the movie, Pathaan is directed by Siddharth Anand and financed by Aditya Chopra under the banner of Yash Raj Films. The movie features SRK, Deepika Padukone, and John Abraham in the lead roles and it is set to release on January 25.
