Ponniyin Selvan 2 targets Summer 2023 release!

Mani Ratnam’s dream project and magnum opus Ponniyin Selvan 1 has hit the screens on September 30, and it turned out to be a biggest blockbuster at the Box-officer earning 250 Crores in the first five days. Now the fans of the film are looking forward to the release date of Ponniyin Selvan 2.

The film’s second part has completed major portions of the shoot already, and they have already revealed during interviews that the shoot of both the portions have been completed in record 155 days. Mani Ratnam depending on the first part reception, will re-do or add the needed changes to the second version.

According to the reports, Ponniyin Selvan 2 will hit the big-screens in April 2023 targeting summer season. The film bankrolled by Lyca Productions and Madras Talkies jointly features Vikram, Aishwarya Rai, Karthi, Trisha and Jayam Ravi in lead roles. The announcement on the release date of Ponniyin Selvan 2 is expected soon.
