Prabhas starrer Adipurush postponed; New date set for June now!
After the teaser of Prabhas starrer Adipurush got a lot of hate on the internet, the makers decided to delay the release of the movie to listen to viewers’ criticism. Sticking to that decision, the movie has now been postponed from the previous release date of January 12, 2023, to June 16, 2023.
Sharing the news, with the masses, Om Raut the director of the movie, revealed the reason to postpone the venture, on Instagram with a note saying,” “Adipurush is not a film, but a representation of our devotion to Prabhu Shri Ram and commitment towards our sanskriti and history. In order to give a complete visual experience to the viewers, we need to give more time to the teams working on the film.”

Adipurush postponed
Coming back to the movie, Adipurush is a mega-budget venture worth over Rs 400 crore, featuring Prabhas, Kriti Sanon, and Saif Ali Khan in the lead roles. Apart from this the movie also has Sunny Singh and Devdatta Nage in pivotal roles in the mythological film. The teaser of the movie was released a while back on Dussehra and people expressed their feelings strongly against its VFX on the Internet.
