‘Puspa’ music composer Devi Sri Prasad faces legal trouble for his recent song ‘O Pari’!

Devi Sri Prasad who is a famous music composer in the industry recently released a pan-India pop number titled ‘O Pari’. The lyrics of the song were penned originally by Raqueeb Alan and Devi himself composed and sang it in multiple languages.

The song became a hit but now it is facing legal issues as a senior artist and former Bigg Boss Telugu participant Karate Kalyani has filed a police complaint against it. She filed the complaint saying the phrase ‘Hare Rama Hare Krishna’ is being used inappropriately in the song. She further accused the music director of hurting the Hindus’ sentiments.

Devi isn’t facing this kind of trouble for the first time as in the past several complaints have been filed against his song for being offensive and problematic. Nonetheless, the fame of the music director is still strong, and next, he will be composing music for the sequel of the hit movie ‘Pushpa’.
