Rajamouli’s RRR Movie Oscar journey begins

Rajamoulis’s magnum opus RRR starring Young Tiger NTR and Mega Power Star Ram Charan as lead heroes has become a blockbuster at the Box-office, and earned applauds worldwide including Hollywood celebs and audiences as well.

While many have thought RRR will make it to Oscars, the panel has surprise many by selecting Gujarati Film Chello Show as India’s official film to the Oscars. But SS Rajamouli and team meanwhile begun the Oscar campaign for RRR in open category, by submitting it in 14 categories under FYC campaign. Rajamouli was seen in TIFF at Canada as well as a grand screening at the famous TCL Chinese IMAX theatre, and now he will be staying at Hollywood for two months.

The film was submitted in categories Best Motion Picture \, Best Director (SS Rajamouli), Best Actor (NTR and Ram Charan), Best Supporting Actor and Actress (Ajay Devgn and Alia Bhatt). Naatu Naatu (Best Original Song), Best Original Score (MM Keeravani), Best Original Screenplay (SS Rajamouli, V Vijayendraprasad, Additional Dialogue (M Rathnam), Best Cinematography (Senthil Kumar), Best Production Design (Sabu Cyril), Best Costume Design (Rama Rajamouli), Best Sound, Best Film Editing (Sreekar Prasad), Best Makeup & Hairstyling and Best Visual Effects (Srinivas Mohan)
