Rajinikanth roped in to play a cop in TJ Gnanavel’s next?

Rajinikanth who is currently shooting for Nelson Dilipkumar’s Jailer has been roped in to play the lead in filmmaker TJ Gnanvel’s next venture as per the latest buzz. If the reports are to be believed, the actor will play the role of a cop in this venture. The reports have also stated that the movie will be based on a true event and will have similar themes to Jai Bhim. Lyca Productions will be backing this venture and the official announcement regarding the same is expected to come in the coming days.

Meanwhile, Lyca Production has signed two movies with Rajinikanth. One of the two movies is Aishwarya Rajinkanth’s directorial venture, Lal Salaam. Rajinikanth will be doing a cameo in this venture while Vishnu Vishal and Vikranth will be playing the lead roles.

Coming back to Rajinikanth’s current project, Jailer is backed by Kalanithi Maran under the Sun Pictures banner, and it is expected to release in 2023 summer. The movie has music from Anirudh Ravichander and it also features Malayalam superstar Mohanlal, Kannada superstar Shivrajkumar, Ramya Krishnan, Vinayakan, Yogi Babu, and Vasanth Ravi in pivotal roles.
